Kurdish Parliament Speaker calls on Turkey, Iran to stop bombing border areas
Erbil (NINA) – Kurdish Parliament Speaker Kamal Kirkuki called on Iran and Turkey to stop bombing the border areas and resort to peaceful solutions for their problems.
During the opening session of the first legislative term, Kirkuki said the new term requires from us exerting our utmost efforts and to legislate laws that serve the citizens and to benefit from the experts advices and to monitor the executive authorities work.
He referred to the importance of developing the parliamentary work by benefiting from the developed countries experiments, asking the MPs to be closer to the citizen and meet with NGOs and ask their opinions.
