Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Meets Djibril Bassole
Doha (QNA) - HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud met here this evening with Djibril Bassole, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation of Burkina Faso, who is currently visiting Qatar to attend the meeting of the Committee for Following Up the implementation of the Doha document on peace in Darfur, which will be held on Sunday in Doha.
The meeting reviewed the topics that will be presented to the Committee's meeting and some other issues relating to the Doha peace process in Darfur.
It is worth mentioning that Mr. Djibril Bassole has served as UN-AU Chief Joint Mediator in the Doha process to the Darfur Peace since its inception and until his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation in his country.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials at the Foreign Ministry.
