Zobae: IS nominated Abdul Kareem Aftan for Electricity Ministry
Baghdad (NINA) – MP from the Iraqiya Slate, Hameed Al Zobae, said “the slate selected engineer, Abdul Kareem Aftan, as its candidate for the Ministry of Electricity.”
In a statement to NINA today “an agreement between members of the committee formed withing the Hal (Solution) bloc after meetings held with candidates to nominate “Aftan” as IS candidate for Electricity.”
Former Minister of Electricity Raad Shalal resigned his post after signing contracts with unqualified German and Canadian companies to implement electricity projects.
