IAAF Delegation on Inspection Visit to Doha in October
Doha, September 10 (QNA) - A senior delegation from the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) chaired by the IAAF senior vice president, Robert Hersh will make an inspection visit to the 2017 bidding nation, Qatar on October 4-6, Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) stated Saturday .
The visit comes in frame of the world governing athletics body administrative, technical and organisational measures to inspect the sport facilities in the bidding nations of IAAF 2017 World Championships.
As per the visit s agenda, the IAAF officials will hold a series of administrative and technical meetings with the country s senior sport official beside conducting several tours inside to sport facilities including Khalifa international stadium, Aspire Zone, Al-Sadd, Al-Arabi and Qatar stadiums alongside hotels and other facilities.
On the same occasion, the Qatari sport officials will deliver an exhaustive presentation on the country s sport city which is allocated for athletes, coaches, administrators, IAAF family and partners beside other sport facilities which are under construction.
Earlier on September 3, deputy chairman of Qatar's bidding team, Dahlan Jumaan Al Hamad, handed over five copies of the bidding file in the South Korean city of Daegu, hosts of IAAF 2011 World Championships .
