MANDALA OPTIMISTIC TO FLY FIVE MILLION PASSENGERS
Jakarta, Sept 22 (ANTARA) - Mandala Airlines is optimistic that its projected five million passengers in 2008 had been reached, because the its flight frequencies have increased over a number of routes.
Head of Corporate Communications of Mandala Airlines, Trisia Megawati said the increased flight frequencies covered the Semarang - Jakarta and Yogyakarta - Jakarta routes, from three to four times a day.
"Other routes also increased in frequency such as to Surabaya, Batam, Padang, Balikpapan and Denpasar," she said
The Jakarta-Kupang route will be covered by Mandala planes, and the Kupang-Ende route by Trigana.
