Qatari Newspapers Hail Emiri Decision to Raise Salaries (Corrected Repeat)

Doha, September 07 (QNA) - Qatari newspapers hailed today the Emiri decision issued by HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday to increase the basic salary, allowance and pensions of Qatari civilian employees, retirees and military personnel.
"Al Sharq" daily in its editorial today said that the decision made Qatar the highest per-capita income country, adding that Qatar's leadership has paid a special attention to human rights through providing a decent life, comfort and psychological and social stability for all citizens under the leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
HH the Emir used all the capabilities to promote a modern life, including education, health and public services in various fields, the paper said, pointing out that this has been translated by Qatar National Vision 2030, which in turn changed to operational plans through national strategies for each sector.
Top Surgeons to Visit Hamad Hospital

Doha, September 7 (QNA) - Leading orthopedic and ophthalmologic surgeons visit Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) later this month, the hospital said Wednesday in a media statement.
Dr. Mohammad Abdulhafez from Egypt, an ophthalmologist with specialization in oculopasty will visit HMC from September 11 to 15.
Dr. Charles Beck from the US, an orthopedic with specialization in knee multi ligamentous injury and shoulder arthroscopy will visit HMC from 18 to 22 June.
Professor Michel Onimus from France, an orthopedic with specialization in scoliosis surgery will visit the HMC from September 22 to October 5.
The doctors will offer patient consultation and perform surgeries, the statement said. (QNA)
