President Saleh, King Abdullah praise mutual security cooperation

MECCA, Sep. 21 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh and King
Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia praised here on Sunday the
high level of security cooperation between both countries.

During a talk session held in Safa Palace of Mecca, the two leaders
lauded the coordination between security authorities in the two
countries, particularly in combating cross-border smuggling and
fighting against terrorism.

The talk session was also devoted to discuss cooperation relations
in various fields of policy, economy, commerce, security in addition
to coordinate the two countries' attitudes towards situation in
Palestine, Iraq and Somalia.

The two leaders affirmed the joint keenness on advancing cooperation
between Yemen and Saudi Arabia.

Worth mentioning, President Ali Abdullah Saleh has performed Umrah
rituals in the Holy city of Mecca.
