Maysan PC Chairman: diplomacy under UN sponsorship can solve the Mubarak Port crisis

Amara (NINA) – Maysan Provincial Council Chairman Abdul Hussein Abdul Ridha said “some imperialist offices do not like the stability of the region and they started to use the Port Mubarak issue to distract the region with meaningless disputes that will only lead to impede the civilization progress.”

In a statement to NINA correspondent “the port Mubarak issue should be solved peacefully away from the tensed atmospheres especially that the two countries are Muslims and neighbors, but, at the same time the Iraqi people’s rights cannot be ignored.”

Abdul Ridha went on saying “we have to go back to the legal procedures to solve the issue away from violence and to find diplomatic solutions to solve the issue under UN sponsorship.”
