KH.TSAGAANBAATAR HOLDS HIS LEADERSHIP AT IJF RANK

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The International Judo Federation (IJF) has announced updated ratings of the world's top judoists in all categories after the Judo World Championships of 2011 took place August 23-28 in Paris, France.
The world's number one for men's 66 kg Kh.Tsagaanbaatar has kept his leadership at his category with 1,398 points although he did not win a medal at the latest World Championships. He has been followed by Junpei Morishita (1,284 points) of Japan and Musa Mogushkov (1,251 points) of Russia. An international master of sports S.Miaragchaa has been ranked at 11th place in this weight category.
Moreover, a State Honored Sportswoman M.Bundmaa (women's 52 kg) has stayed at 3rd place of the ranking with 1,292 points by having three wins at the World Championships. This category has been led by Misato Nakamura (2,160 points) and Yuka Nishida (1,880 points) of Japan.
According to the updated list, 12 Mongolian judoists have been ranked within first 22 tops that could be qualified for the Olympic Games.
