UNIVERSITY ATHLETES AWARDED CASH PRIZES
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ In accordance with a decision of the cabinet, cash prizes have been awarded to the students who won silver medals at the 26th Summer Universiade held August 12-23 in Shenzhen, China.
On Thursday, September 1, the cash prizes were granted by S.Batbold, the Prime Minister to B.Mongontuul, an International Master and Woman Grandmaster for chess and student of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST); O.Chinbat, a judoist (Mon-Altius University of Physical Culture); Ch.Narantuya, a shooter (Mongolian State University of Education); and B.Bishrel, N.Bayaraa, D.Ganzorig, shooters from the National University of Physical Culture.
Apart of the university athletes, trainers and coaches of the medalists have been awarded with cash prizes as well.
