Manly's Stewart gets three-week suspension

Manly second rower Glenn Stewart has been suspended for three matches, after being found guilty of his contrary conduct charge at the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night.
Stewart had been referred directly to the judiciary for his role in last Friday's ugly all-in brawl at Brookvale Oval between the Sea Eagles and Melbourne.
The Test and NSW Origin representative had his case dramatically adjourned on Wednesday night after Manly and legal counsel Christopher Branson QC parted company hours before the hearing.
The ruling means Stewart will be free to play in the grand final, should Manly progress that far.
The NSW and Australian representative's contrary conduct charge came after he engaged in a one-on-one fight with Melbourne opposite Adam Blair as the pair were already on their way to the sin bin.
The incident then sparked an all-in-brawl as Sea Eagles players rushed to Stewart's aid and Storm players joined the melee from the interchange bench.
Both clubs were fined $50,000 by the NRL.
