Ban condemns suicide attack in Pakistan
United Nations, Sept 21 (PTI) United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has strongly condemned the suicide attack on the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad, in which at least 60 people were killed and over 200 injured.
Terming the attack "heinous", Ban said "no cause can
justify the indiscriminate targeting of civilian."
"The Secretary General expresses his heartfelt
condolences to the families of the victims of this appalling
attack, as well as to the Government and people of Pakistan,"
