Vic toddler may lose arm cut by lawnmower

Surgeons are trying to save the arm of a toddler run over by a lawnmower.
The 16-month-old boy, who was run over on the family property at Maryknoll, southeast of Melbourne, just after 4pm (AEST), was flown by helicopter to the Royal Children's Hospital.
Intensive care paramedic Phil Smith said his team arrived to find the child distressed and being comforted by his parents.
"He had suffered a serious injury to his right arm and deep cuts to his legs and foot," Mr Smith said.
"We cleaned and dressed the wounds before giving the boy pain relief through an inhaler."
