Race walk the only event of the day

DAEGU, Aug. 31 (Yonhap) -- The women's 20-kilometer race walk is the only event of the day. Since it is held on a road course in downtown Daegu, the main venue Daegu Stadium will be vacant on Wednesday.
Russia is favored to sweep the podium. Olga Kaniskina will chase her third straight world title, and will be challenged by compatriots Vera Sokolova and Anisia Kirdyapkina.
