Tomorrow First Day of Eid Al Fitr in Qatar

Doha, August 29 (QNA) - The Moon Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has announced that tomorrow, Tuesday, will be the first day of Eid Al Fitr. (QNA)

HH the Emir Exchanges Congratulraory Cables Marking Eid Al Fitr

Doha, August 29 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani on Monday exchanged cables of congratulations on the advent of Eid Al Fitr (lesser Bairam) with the leaders of the sisterly Arab and Islamic Muslim countries.
HH the Emir in turn received similar cables of congratulations on the blessed occasion from a number of leaders of friendly countries.
HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani also reciprocated cables of felicitations on the same occasion with the leaders of the brotherly Arab and Islamic countries and the Heirs Apparent.(QNA)

HH the Emir Receives Congratulations from Advisory Council Speaker

Doha, August 29 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani has received a cable of congratulations from HE the Advisory Council Speaker Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Khuleifi on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
In his name and on behalf of the Advisory Council s members, Al-Khuleifi congratulated HH the Emir, praying the Almighty Allah to recur many happy returns of this occasion, wishing the Emir the best of health and further development, progress and prosperity to the state of Qatar under the wise leadership of the Emir.
HH the Emir sent a reply cable of thanks to HE the Advisory Council Speaker Mohamed bin Mubarak Al-Khuleifi in which he expressed appreciation to him and the Advisory Council members for their sincere congratulations.
In his cable, HH the Emir prayed the Almighty Allah to recur many returns wishing all best of health and the Qatari people further prosperity and progress. (QNA)
