AIBA RATINGS: THREE BOXERS RANKED WITHIN TENTH PLACE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The International Boxing Association (AIBA) has announced rankings of world's top boxers for this year prior to the AIBA World Boxing Championships to be held from September 22 through October 10 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
This ranking was updated based on all competition results from the past two years' AIBA ranking events, changes of some boxers' weight categories, and retirements of boxers. Therefore, AIBA will hold its Seeding Commission meeting on September 2 in order to develop the seeding guidelines for both the upcoming AIBA World Boxing Championships and the London 2012 Olympic Games.
A State Honored Sportsman and World champion P.Serdamba has been ranked at third place with 1,200 points in the weight category of men's 49 kg. He has followed Salman Alizada of Azerbaijan with 1,600 points and Jong Hun Shin of the Republic of Korea with 1,450 points. A State Honored Sportsman U.Monkh-Erdene has been ranked at second place with 1,500 points in the 64 kg weight category, following Roniel Iglesias Sotolongo of Cuba (2,000 points).
In the weight category of men's 52 kg, a State Honored Sportsman and silver medalist of World Championships N.Togstsogt has been ranked fifth place with 800 points, following Misha Aloyan of Russia (1,450 points), Ronny Beblik of Germany (1,150 points), Khalid Yafai of England (1,000 points) and Vicenzo Picardi of Italy (950 points). Among other Mongolian boxers, an international master of sports D.Otgondalai (56 kg) has been ranked at 12th place with 600 points; B.Tuvshinbat (69 kg)--at 24th place; and T.Chuluuntomor (75 kg)--at 12th place.
