Kurdish MPs submit protest note to the UN against the Turkish, Iranian bombing for border areas

Baghdad (NINA) – Kurdish MPs in the Iraqi Parliament submitted a note of protest to the UN against the Iranian and Turkish bombing of the border areas in Kurdistan.

The MPs said in their note “the neighboring states for more than once violated all international norms and UN charter through targeting the border areas of Kurdistan using artillery and jetfighters and hurting the civilians and farmers there.”

They demanded that UN to “carry out its humanitarian and moral role and stop these violations and aggressions and to pressurize Iran and Turkey to submit official apology to the Kurdish people and pay compensations to the victims of these crimes.”
