Lebanese Official lauds Kingdom's Support
Beirut, September 20, SPA -- Head of the Future Bloc in Parliament MP
Saad Hariri of Lebanon has commended the Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for his directives of providing a
sum of $ 44 million as a contribution from the Kingdom to cover the
tuition fees of public schools and for the cost of textbooks for the
current academic year.
He said in a statement today, "I express my thanks to the Custodian
of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for the support
which comes within the firm policy of the Kingdom which always stands
by the Lebanese people to support their steadfastness in the face of
all the difficulties and challenges ".
He added that the Kingdom's contribution is added to the series of
the assistance provided by the Kingdom in the past and it reaffirms
the continuation of the Kingdom in its approach in dealing with all
the Lebanese people without discrimination or distinction to
alleviate the pressure of living conditions on Lebanese citizens and
the difficult economic situation experienced by Lebanon in the search
for the internal stability as well as maintaining the ability of
people to pass this difficult stage.
