Interior minister meets European commissioner

SANA'A, Sep 20 (Saba) - Minister of Interior Mutahar Rashad al-Masri
met on Saturday with the European Commission EC representative in
the country Mikele Shrafuna.

At the meeting, the EC official expressed regret over the deaths of
Yemeni troops and civilians in the most recent terrorist attack on
the US embassy in Sana'a.

He affirmed the EC will continue to support Yemen in the fight
against terrorism and crime.

The meeting also dealt with security cooperation between Yemen and
the European Union EU and means to boost it.
