USE THE MONTH OF RAMADAN TO FOSTER INTER-RACIAL UNITY - M'SIAN PM
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 20 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad
Badawi Friday night said that the month of Ramadan should be utilised to foster unity between the various races and faiths in the country.
He said Muslims could take the opportunity to invite the non-Muslims to
join in the breaking of the fast so that they too could appreciate the meaning
of the auspicious month of Ramadan.
Muslims should discharge their religious responsibilities in the best
manner in the month of Ramadan, the Prime Minister said at the breaking of the
fast and distribution of the Nur Ramadan contributions at the Al-Shafie Mosque,
here.
The month of Ramadan should be appreciated by performing religious
obligations and noble practices.
