Security Council Condemns US embassy attack in Sana'a

NEW YORK, Sep. 19 (Saba) - Security Council denounced on Friday the
terrorist attack targeted the U.S. Embassy in Sana'a last Wednesday.

The Council's members voiced, in a statement issued late on
Thursday, their condolence to the Yemeni government and the families
of the soldiers and the innocent citizens killed in the attack.

It lauded the commitment of the government to fight on terrorism,
prompting all countries to cooperate with Yemen strongly in this
regard, emphasizing the necessity to bring the involved persons in
this act too court.

The council asserted again that all terrorism acts are criminals and
unjustifiable, reminding the member states to observe the
International Human Rights Law, International Refugees Law and
International Humanitarian Law.
