Agricultural fair kicks off in Hanoi

Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam 's trade promotion and agricultural product
exhibition fair opened in Hanoi on Sept. 19.

In the fair, farmers and businesses from across the nation are displaying
their farm produces, craft items and tools used in the agricultural sector,
as well as successful farming models.

Those who have recorded outstanding achievements in the sector will
receive awards recognising their work.

During the course of the event, there will be seminars discussing ways to
provide consultancy, along with services to support agricultural production
and improve farm produce quality.

The fair is also a chance for farmers to gain access to consultancy,
loans, technical service, vocational training and product sales.

At the opening ceremony, the Director of the Central Farmers Association
of Vietnam, Nguyen Quoc Cuong said the fair aims to heighten awareness of
production and business in the market structure for employees, farmers and
businessmen.

The Vietnam trade promotion and agricultural product exhibition fair
