Minister of Interior to patronize closing ceremony of handing
Madinah, Saudi Arabia, September 19, SPA--Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz
Al Saud, the Minister of Interior will patronize here on Saturday the
closing ceremony of handing over Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud
World Award for Prophet's Sunnah and Contemporary Islamic Studies in
its 3rd session to be held by the Award's Secretariat General.
The ceremony will be attended by more than 150 world Muslim
personalities.
Dr. Saed Al-Orabi Al-Harthi, Advisor to the Minister of Interior, and
the Award's Secretary General said that the Prince's patronage of
this Award and his chairmanship of its Supreme Commission embodied
his keenness on the Prophet's Sunnah, facilitation of understanding
its objectives by Islamic nations, its application in their daily
affairs and dealings and demonstrating its tolerance to others
through good words and deeds as well as the correct way far away from
extremism.
He commended the kind care and the generous support provided for the
Award by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin
Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud,
Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector
General.
