Thirteen injured in Pattani bombing

BANGKOK, August 23 (TNA) - Thirteen people including soldiers, monks and civilians, were injured on Tuesday from a bomb blast in southern Thailand's Pattani province.

The bomb was hidden inside a fifteen-kilogram gas tank in a fried-chicken vendor stall, and was detonated when the 23rd Pattani Special Task Force was patrolling. Two soldiers were seriously injured and rushed to Pattani Hospital.

The explosion took place on Sai Pak Num road in Pattani Muang District’s Sabarung Sub-district. (TNA)
