MSU TO COOPERATE WITH SOUTH KOREA'S UNIVERSITY AND COMPANY
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Information Technology School of the Mongolian State University has signed a trilateral cooperation memorandum of understanding with the Industry Cooperation Foundation of Chungnam National University and the “ACS” company of South Korea.
Within the frame of the memorandum, a project is to be implemented to work out control system of mining machineries with help of using wireless technology.
Project team claims that thanks to the project a possibility will emerge to know fuel amount consumed by machineries, speed they run at, their route and load, where the goods unloaded. Moreover, this is important to ensure safety of the machineries.
Scientists of the two universities will carry out researches of the project, and the “ACS” company will be responsible for the application of research results. The three-year term project will be financed by the Government of the Republic of Korea.
