YONSEI" HOSPITAL OF UB TO BE DEVELOPED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city, G.Monkhbayar received the Director General of the “Yonsei” medical institute of the Republic of Korea, Li Jong Chul, who is in a delegation accompanying the President of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia, August 22.
The sides talked how to improve activities of “Yonsei” friendship hospital, which was established in the light of the cooperation between the two cities.
The “Yonsei” hospital has been working for 18 years. In recent years, the hospital's services quality has fallen into stagnation. Therefore, G.Monkhbayar suggested reviewing shares of the two sides in the hospital. If Korean side would make investments to update the hospital's equipment, the current shares of the two sides could be changed and the management could be improved. Mr. Monkhbayar also forwarded to convening a meeting of Board of Directors to decide this issue in order to develop the “Yonsei” hospital into number one hospital in Ulaanbaatar city.
Li Jong Chul received gratefully his proposal and stressed possibilities to update hospital's equipments.
