American forces shell groves close to US base north Baquba
Baquba (NINA) – American forces shelled on Sunday evening, Aug. 21, villages and groves near the US base north of Baquba.
Security source told NINA that in response to earlier in the day mortar and Ktusha rocket attacks, American force based in Firnas Airport, north Baquba, fired a number of rockets toward gunmen hideout in the groves around villages surrounding Khalis district.
He added that the shelling resulted in damaging the groves without causing in human casualties.
