Mohammadi announces national campaign, led by UN, to review educational curriculums

Baghdad (NINA) – Member of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Waleed Al Mohammadi, announced a national campaign led by the UN to review the educational curriculums in Iraq.

In a statement issued by his office, Mohammadi said the campaign will be dedicated to review the curriculums to be acceptable by all sects and races in the Iraqi community, pointing out that the education committee is taking charge of developing the scientific curriculums in Iraq as the case in Jordan and Lebanon, especially the English Language curriculum, and make them equal to the curriculums of the gulf states.

Mohammadi, MP from the Iraqiya Slate, went on saying “Iraq will be working on preserving the teachers’ certificate’s level in the Middle East and Europe.” /End/
