Bar association announces a sit-in next Thursday in protest against building Port Mubarak, Iranian bombing of border areas
Baghdad (NINA) – Bar Association decided to arrange a sit-in on next Thursday comprising all lawyers in denunciation to the Kuwaiti government’s building of the Port Mubarak and Iran’s continued bombing of the Iraqi border areas.
In a statement issued today, the Association said “the board of the Association discussed the Kuwaiti government’s building the Port Mubarak and its negative impact on Iraq’s economy. The board also discussed the continued Iranian bombing of the border areas and its impact of the Iraqi people and their properties.”
The Bar Association pointed out that the sit-in will take one hour between 8.30 to 9.30 am on Thursday morning, each from his place. /End/
