G.ZANDANSHATAR GIVES REPORT ON FORTHCOMING VISITS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Friday, August 19, the Minister of Foreign Affairs G.Zandanshatar gave a report to media on the biggest visits to be paid by foreign leaders to Mongolia. He said that these visits are aiming to keep frequency of the high-level of bilateral relations.
On August 21-23, the President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung-bak will pay a state visit to Mongolia at an invitation of the State Head Ts.Elbegdorj, whereas the U.S Vice President Joseph Robinette Biden will pay an official visit on August 22, 2011 at an invitation of the Premier S.Batbold. A visit of Zhou Yongkang, a member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Secretary of CPC Central Political and Legislative Committee will be paid on August 23-26.
In frames of the state visit, Lee Myung-bak will hold an individual meeting with his counterpart of Mongolia. Then, he will receive the Parliament Speaker D.Demberel; and the Prime Minister S.Batbold. During this visit, the sides will discuss an issue on facilitating the visa term of both countries. In addition to it, a business forum will be arranged, and some 80 business delegates have been registered to partake in the forum so far.
The U.S Vice President Joseph Robinette Biden will hold an individual meeting with the Prime Minister S.Batbold. After this, Mr. Biden will be received by the President Ts.Elbegdorj, and the sides plan to discuss issues on the Mongolia-USA cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, culture, education, science, health, mining and defense.
In a scope of his visit, Mr. Yongkang will hold talks on enriching contests of the Mongolia-China strategic partnership relations and expanding the cooperation.
