Baku,19 September,(AzerTAj)“The United States strongly supports the sovereignty and
territorial integrity of Azerbaijan”, said Minsk Group US Co-Chair, Deputy Assistant
Secretary of State Matthew Bryza at a press conference held Thursday in Baku.
He underlined that “as Vice President Cheney said during his visit here two weeks
ago, the United States has a deep and abiding interest in Azerbaijan`s well-being
and security.”
He added “achieving a solution is more important now than ever before; that outcome
will enhance peace and stability in the region, and Azerbaijan`s security, as well.”
“Azerbaijan now exports rising volumes of oil and natural gas to the region and
global markets, and has the potential to expand production and shipment” Bryza said.
