New tourist service center opened at Suvarnabhumi Airport

BANGKOK, August 19 (TNA) - Thailand has opened a new tourist service centre at its landmark Suvarnabhumi International Airport, offering services to international travellers in up to 10 languages.
At its opening ceremony on Friday, Thai Permanent Secretary for Tourism and Sports Sombat Kurupan said that the new center will provide comprehensive information and urgent referral services to global travellers visiting the main Thai airport, as well as to cater their complaints to demonstrate Thailand's hospitality and safety standards.
Located on the 1st floor of the Suvarnabhumi Airport, through the entrance No.3, the new center provides 24-hour tourist-related services in 10 different languages, namely Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, English, Italian, Spanish, German and Thai.
According to the senior Thai Transport Ministry official, the Suvarnabhumi Airport has normally catered up to 8-10 million international and domestic travellers annually. (TNA)
