Two dead in Qld plane crash
SYDNEY (AAP) - Aug. 18 - Two men have died in a light plane crash in central Queensland.
The plane left Emerald airport at 3pm (AEST) on Wednesday and did not return.
The alarm was raised a few hours later and a search over an area of 850 kms was conducted using night vision goggles and infrared equipment.
Police said the wreckage of the plane was found about 2pm (AEST) on Thursday, east of Emerald.
The bodies of the men were found inside.
