Fatlawi: Minister of Electricity’s answers about the fake contracts, not convincing
Baghdad (NINA) – MP from the State of Law, Hanan Al Fatlawi, announced “the answers of Raad Shalal, Minister of Electricity, regarding the fake contracts were not convincing.”
She told NINA “the minister gave unconvincing excuses since he is the number one negligent in the contracting with fake companies.”
The parliament hosted today Minister of Electricity, Raad Shalal, and Deputy Premier, Hussein Shahristani, on the background of the fake contracts signed by the ministry with German and Canadian companies that turned out later to be unqualified companies. They were supposed to implement $1.7 billion worth of contracts.
