Qatar's Basketball Team Trains in Turkey

Doha , August 16 (QNA) - the State of Qatar's National Basketball team begins on Wednesday a training camp in Turkey which will continue until August 22, as part of the team's preparation for the 26th FIBA Asia Championship which will be held in China from September 15-25.
The championship's winner will qualify for the London Olympics in 2012 while holders of second and third place will have to go to a play-off to qualify.
Heading the National team during the camp is Rashid Al-Abdullah in addition to the coaching staff led by Head Coach Ali Fakhro and his Assistant Coaches Said Mubarak and Mohammed Orabi. (QNA)
