Dacoits on rampage in Sialkot
SIALKOT, August 16, 2011 (PPI): The people remained at the mercy of the criminals, as the criminals remained on rampage in Sialkot district and they took away a car, four more motorcycles, cash and other valuables in the district here on Tuesday.
The dacoits continued ruling the Sialkot district, making the lives of the innocent and peace-loving people miserable, while the police remained busy in protecting the sacred places including mosques and religious seminaries etc.
Three unknown armed motorcyclists snatched gold ornaments, cash and mobile phones of Rs. 0.4 million at gunpoint from a car rider Zahid Mehmood and his family at Khawaja Muhammad Safdar Road locality.
Unknown thieves broke into the shop of local trader Sheikh Arsalan locate in Daska city and decamped with Rs. 340,000 in cash.
Two dacoits snatched gold ornaments, cash and other valuables worth Rs. 0.3 million at gunpoint from village Jandu Sahi based trader Mudassar Tanveer and his sister-in-law near village Ranjhai while going to Daska city.
Unknown thieves took away a car (LEH-8273) of village Jessarwala-Daska based landlord Asif Khan from Bank Road Daska city, besides stealing motorcycle (GAO-6283) of Muhammad Rafiq from in front of Patwar Khana Daska.
Thieves also took away a motorcycle of Rahat Ilyas from Muslim Colony-Muradpur, Sialkot city, besidesstealing a motorcycle (STN-2222) of Suhail Ahmed from Model Town Sialkot.
In Noorpura-Sialkot, three dacoits stormed the house of Tahir Abbas, made hostage family members and fled away after looting gold ornaments , cash and electronics worth Rs. 0.3 million.
Three dacoits snatched motorcycle and Rs. 5000 in cash from a trader Amjad Ali in Pindi Araiyaan-Naikapura locality of Sialkot city. Police are investigating the cases with no arrest or recovery.
