Fertilizers crisis worsen day by day in Sialkot
SIALKOT, August 16, 2011 (PPI): The fertilizers crisis aggregating day by day following the failure of the district administration to cope with the critical situation.
The district administration was busy in making the Sasta Ramzan Bazaars successfully by utilizing all the energies.
The perturbed paddy growers including Syed Iqbal Shah, Nasir Iqbal, Ch. Allah Bukhash, Ghulam Hussain, Bashir Ahmed, Ch. Muhammad Akbar, Bilal Hassan and Khalid Mehmood said that there is a shortage of the urea fertilizers in Sialkot region and the paddy growers and farmers were suffering from great difficulties due to the non-availability of the urea fertilizers, causing inordinate delay in the sowing of the paddy crops.
They narrated that the sowing of the seasonal paddy crops was badly hampering due to the shortage of fertilizers in Sialkot region, adding that this sowing would be much delayed if the situation persist. They urged the government to look into the matter in the larger interest of the wheat growers and farmers.
