N.ENKHBOLD MEETS TRADE COMMISSIONER OF AUSTRALIA
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A Vice Speaker N.Enkhbold received on Tuesday Mr. David Lawson, a Trade Commissioner of Australia, in the Government House. They have shared views on development of the cooperation between companies and enterprisers of the countries in public services.
Mr. Lawson reported that some 100 Australian companies have a willingness to do their business in Mongolia, and added these companies are engaged not only in the mining sector, but also in other social spheres such as education, culture, science and health.
The Vice Speaker said it is important to develop the cooperation in many spheres. "Australia is one of the Third neighbors of Mongolia. As observing experiences of Australia, this country is very similar in ways of population and geography. Mining is the main developmental base of our countries," the Vice Speaker said.
According to Mr. Lawson, as of present Australia has registered over 130 enterprisers and companies that are carrying out business in Mongolia and exporting products to Mongolia. One of these companies is the Cochlir Co.ltd is doing business in Mongolia in the health sector, and this company established a memorandum on June 20, 2011 with the Health Ministry of Mongolia.
In response, the Vice Speaker promised to support the bilateral cooperation with under auspices of the State Great Khural.
