Kashmiri people observed Black Day
SIALKOT, August 15, 2011 (PPI): The Kashmiri people residing in Sialkot region, today, observed black day on the eve of national Independence Day of India.
They wore the black arm bandages and chanted anti-India slogans for not giving the basic right of plebiscite to the Kashmiri people. The Kashmiri people in Sialkot, Daska, Uggoki, Sambrial, Bajwat, Pasrur, Chawinda, Badiana and surrounding areas expressed complete solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiri people in neighbouring Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
They also held several condemnation meetings there in which the local Kashmiri leaders including Sahibzada Hamid Raza (former AJK Minister) said that the rising human rights violations, custodial killings and genocide of the innocent Kashmiri people by Occupant Indian Army was enough to shake the conscience of the international community.
They urged the International community to use its complete influence to pressurize India for the peaceful solution of the Kashmir Dispute as per the aspirations of the Kashmiri people, as the Kashmir Issue has become a flashpoint between the two nuclear neighbours.
