Prime Minister Gilani sends message of greetings to Indian counterpart

Islamabad, August 15, 2011 (PPI): Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani Monday sent message of greetings to his Indian counterpart Dr Manmohan Singh on Independence Day of India.

Gilani said, “On behalf of people of Pakistan and on my own behalf, I avail this opportunity to extend my greetings and felicitations to you and to people of India on Independence Day of India. On this day, I would like to reiterate our desire to have harmonious, cooperative and friendly relations between our two countries to achieve our shared goal of peace, progress and prosperity.”
