Thailand's opposition to set up shadow Cabinet

BANGKOK, August 13 (TNA) - Thailand's now main opposition Democrat Party announced on Saturday that it will set up its shadow Cabinet to monitor the new Pheu Thai Party-led coalition government's performances.

Democrat Spokesman Chavanont Intarakomalsuth said that the main opposition party will organise a seminar of its MPs after the new Pheu Thai Party-led government's presentation of its policy statement to the Parliament.

The opposition spokesman acknowledged that the shadow Cabinet will comprise of all ministries, and that most of the shadow ministers will be former ministers of the previous Democrat Party-led government and a number of competent MPs. (TNA)
