First Islamic history museum inaugurated
ISLAMABAD, August 12, 2011 (PPI): First Islamic history museum has been established in Islamabad.
Handwritten scripts of the Holy Quran and thousands of Islamic art crafts have been displayed in a private museum ‘Muhammad Art Gallery’ established in Mera Bakhwal, a suburban are of Islamabad.
A large number of the citizens participated in the inaugural ceremony. They showed keen interest in years old scripts of the Holy Quran written on leather with gold yarn.
Five-hundred-year-old ‘Ghilaf-e-Kaba’ has also been displayed in the museum.
