DEPUTY MAYOR MEETS S.KOREAN DELEGATION

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Deputy Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city B.Baatarzorig met Thursday a delegation led by Chong Du, a director of the Technical High School of Seoul, the Republic of Korea.
The Deputy Mayor has discussed issues with Mr. Chung on augmenting number of Mongolian students to study in the Technical High School with scholarships of Seoul and interested in academic excellence of Mongolian students. "The majority of UB city's population is youths and children. They have a great aspiration to study abroad, especially in the Republic of Korea," Baatarzorig has stressed, and thanked the Korean side for giving them education.
In turn, Mr. Chong has said that the matter of augmenting number of Mongolian students might be tackled through a trilateral agreement, and added the Korean side is ready to cooperate with Mongolia in training Mongolians through specific proposals.
