HEALTH MINISTER MEETS S.KOREAN AMBASSADOR

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Health S.Lambaa met Friday Mr. Chong IL, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia. They have discussed issues on intensifying the bilateral cooperation in the health sector, and then have spoken about the collaboration after signing of a cooperation memorandum established March of this year between the countries.
The Minister has briefed about works that are being done by the Mongolia's Ministry of Health for widening contents of the above cooperation memorandum in accordance with an agreement made with his counterpart of the South Korea. The two Health Ministers also have agreed to expand the cooperation memorandum changing it as an intergovernmental agreement.
The sides have considered issues concerning the biggest works such as the intergovernmental agreement to be established during an upcoming official visit of the Korean President to Mongolia and other planned works.
