“Yingluck” breaks into tears before Mother’s Day

BANGKOK, August 11 (TNA) - Brushing aside the bold Prime Minister figure, Yingluck Shinawatra was drowned in love and contentment, shedding away tears as her only son “Pipe” offered her jasmine flowers and heart-touching words for Mother’s day.
The scene of motherly affection at Na Darune School took hold of reporters on Thursday morning as they covered the school activity held before the national Mother’s Day, which falls on August 12 this year.
“My mum teaches me a lot of things, but what I mostly remember is to show respect to the people you know or an older person, which I think is a really good way of showing manners,” said Supasek Amornchat (Pipe).
“I made a ring with a photo of her on it for today's special gift. I also wrote her a poem,” the fourth grader added.
Speaking to reporters, Yingluck made a public admission saying as a woman and also a mother herself, she would like to see every children show love to their parents on Mother’s Day.
The female premier added the Day was symbolically important for remembering the love of a mother, especially of the country’s royal mother, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, whom should be highly revered.
She also encouraged the public to heed Her Majesty’s televised statement at 4 p.m. Thursday evening.
Asked how being a prime minister would affect her family role, Yingluck said her priority was to work for the people and the nation to her best ability, and in her spare time to care for her child.
She revealed having already talked with her son before joining politics, and said her son understood and was able to cope with her needs. (TNA)
