QOC Ramadan Tournament Final
Doha, August 10 (QNA) - Arab Games and Sport Affairs teams booked their places in the final of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Ramadan Football tournament following their semifinals win at the Qatar sports club on Tuesday.
Arab Games recorded a narrow 2-1 victory over Administrative Affairs. Salah Al-Sunaidi scored double as Talal Al-Baloushi netted the sole goal for Administrative Affairs.
In the second semifinals, Sport Affairs Department made a comfortable 5-1 win over Secretariat-General.
The final and third and fourth place match playoff will be held on Saturday.
Eight QOC departments participated in the tournament, they include Group A: Secretariat-General, Planning and Development, Purchase and Stores and Human Resources. Group B: Sport Affairs, Arab Games, Administrative Affairs and Maintenance and Operations.
QOC organised women s Ramadan tournament concluded at the Aspire Zone on Tuesday.
In table tennis, Noura Al-Abri claimed first position in individuals, while Cristina managed second and Fareeda Ismail finished third.
In babyfoot (teams event), Manal Sultan and Fareeda Ismail clinched the first position, Alexandra and Ewana seized second place and Fajr Abdulmohsen and Imman from Maintenance and Operations took third place. (QNA)
