Jumaili: Iraqiya nominates Jawad al-Bolani for Defence Minister
Baghdad (NINA) – Leader of Iraqiya’s Parliamentary bloc, Salman al-Jumaili, said that Iraqiya Slate has nominated former Interior Minister, Jawad al-Bolani, among four other nominees to assume the post of Defence Minister.
In a statement to NINA on Wednesday, Aug. 10, Jumaili said that Iraqiya Slate has agreed on nominating Jawad al-Bolani for the post of Defence Minister, in addition to three other nominees; he did not name the other three.
It is noteworthy that Bolani has joined Iraqiya Slate, being part of the Middle Alliance, which consists of Iraqi Unity and Iraqi Concurrence Front.
