QOC Honours Long-Serving Staff

Doha, August 10 (QNA) - The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) held a ceremony to honour staff who served the organisation for more than a decade, Qatar's sports governing body said.
Secretary General of QOC Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, QOC Assistant Secretary General for Technical Support Khalid Hamad Al Mohannadi, directors of QOC departments and Heads of sections and units and honourees attended the function held at the QOC premises Monday.
Speaking at the ceremony, Sheikh Saoud said the QOC was proud to honour an elite group of long-serving staff. He applauded their diligence in work and tangible achievements for furthering the growth and development of sports in Qatar.
Sheikh Saoud described the honour ceremony to motivated QOC s newly-recruited employees who promised to emulated the long-serving staff.
On behalf of the honourees, Sport Affairs department employee Mohammed Ahmed Sulaiman Abdullah Osman thanked the QOC Administration for the honour and vowed to continue performing with the same in the remaining period of service.
