Qatar Statistics Authority Signs MoU with QDB
Doha , August 10 (QNA) - Qatar Statistics Authority (QSA) and Qatar Development Bank (QDB) signed on Wednesday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to exchange data and statistical information.
The MoU was signed by QSA president Sheikh Hamad bin Jabor bin Jassim Al Thani and QDB's Chief Executive Mansour bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud.
Under the MoU, QSA will provide QDB with statistics on different economic sectors to encourage industrial and economic development in the State of Qatar, while the bank will offer its own statistical data to QSA to calculate economic indicators.
An electronic linkage between both parties will be launched to facilitate the flow of information and the transfer of statistical data. The two parties will also hold meetings to explore the best means of joint cooperation between them.
