Prospects of Tajik-Pakistan cooperation discussed in Dushanbe
Dushanbe, August 10, 2011 (PPI): Tajikistan Prime Minister Aqil Aqilov discussed with visiting Pakistan's Communications Minister Arbab Alamgir Khan bilateral ties and prospects of Tajik-Pakistan cooperation in communications, economy and trade, Trend News Agency reported.
According to Tajik PM’s secretariat, both sides paid special attention to construction of an automobile road that links two countries, construction of railroads from Turkmenistan to Pakistan through Afghanistan, construction of Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India gas pipeline, to which Tajikistan is planning to joint in the future and CASA-1000 project on transit of energy from Tajikistan & Kyrgyzstan to Afghanistan & Pakistan.
